We are seeking a dependable and experienced Senior Maintenance Technician that serves as the primary maintenance professional for an assigned property and is responsible for all day-to-day maintenance operations. This hands-on role performs maintenance repairs, preventive maintenance, inspections, and emergency response while coordinating vendors, contractors, and larger repair projects.
The Sr. Maintenance Technician ensures the property remains safe, functional, compliant, and inspection-ready while providing exceptional service to residents and our clients.

You can earn between $63,000 - $83,000 annually based on experience (Pay Type: Hourly).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform all routine, preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance.
- Serve as the primary maintenance contact for the property.
- Coordinate and oversee outside vendors and contractors.
- Schedule and monitor preventive maintenance programs.
- Conduct property inspections and ensure inspection readiness.
- Manage unit turnovers and vacant unit preparation.
- Coordinate larger repairs and capital projects with management.
- Maintain inventory and order materials.
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements and housing standards.
- Participate in on-call and emergency response as required.
- Utilize maintenance software to document work orders, inspections, and repairs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in residential, multifamily, commercial, healthcare, senior living, public housing, or related facilities.
- Strong skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC troubleshooting, appliances, drywall, carpentry, and general repairs.
- Experience coordinating vendors and contractors.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation.
- Comfortable using mobile devices and maintenance management software.
- Proficient in operating various hand-held tools and devices.
- Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- EPA Section 608 certification, CPO certification, or trade licenses are a plus.
Physical Demands:
- Employee is frequently required to travel to various properties to oversee maintenance projects within the City of Pittsburgh, PA.
- Daily movements include sitting; standing; reaching; bending; kneeling; and climbing ladders; operating computers and other office equipment; moving about the properties; and attending on-site meetings and off-site meetings.
- Employee must be able to exchange information in person, in writing, and via telephone.
- Employee must occasionally transport up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment:
- The employee works indoor and outdoor and is frequently exposed to weather extremes. The employee may occasionally be subjected to fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals (e.g., cleaning solutions, solvents, insecticides), and skin irritants. The employee may be required to use goggles, gloves, masks, lumbar support belts, safety boots, and other personal protective equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- Employees must have access to 24 hour reliable phone & internet service. Employees must also have reliable transportation to and from work, as well as, to get to and from multiple work locations based on business needs and assignments. Employee is responsible for providing own basic hand tools.
- Position may require employees to work overtime, nights and weekends when needed or in the case of an emergency.
