Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Quality Manager to lead our quality assurance and control initiatives within our manufacturing operations. This pivotal role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive quality systems that ensure our products meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and excellence. As a key driver of continuous improvement, the Quality Manager will foster a culture of quality throughout the organization, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Duties
- Develop, implement, and oversee quality management systems aligned with SQF standards and other relevant regulatory frameworks such as USDA regulations and GMP guidelines.
- Conduct regular quality audits across production lines to verify compliance with internal standards and external legal requirements.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for quality issues, ensuring swift resolution and prevention of recurrence.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to establish quality standards in production, including HACCP, GMP's, and SQF standards.
- Monitor and evaluate quality inspection procedures, ensuring rigorous adherence to quality control protocols and specifications.
- Coordinate training programs for staff on quality systems, regulatory compliance, and best practices in manufacturing quality assurance.
- Prepare detailed reports on audit findings, compliance status, and process improvements to senior management.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of GMP, HACCP, SQF, and USDA regulations, and other relevant regulatory/legal compliance standards in production.
- Proven experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing role with a focus on quality assurance or quality control.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including quality standards in production and quality inspection techniques.
- Expertise in conducting comprehensive quality audits and implementing effective corrective actions.
- Excellent communication skills for training teams, reporting findings, and collaborating across departments to enhance overall product quality.
- Demonstrated ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives and develop robust quality systems that support regulatory compliance.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
