American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position at a Level III trauma center within the Yale New Haven Health System, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and night shift availability.

Short-term acute care hospital with 252 staffed beds, part of the Yale New Haven Health System

Level III trauma center

Medical Surgical unit

Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)

Every other weekend required

Floating to other units required as needed

Charting via Epic EMR

Free parking available on-site

Active CT or Compact RN license required

Current BLS certification required

Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience required

Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

No prior disciplinary history on nursing license

1 professional reference required for consideration

Flu vaccine is required; declinations are not accepted

Former permanent staff of this facility must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler
