A veterinary practice is seeking an experienced Medical Director to provide clinical leadership and support a collaborative veterinary team. This opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian who is passionate about delivering quality patient care while helping guide clinical operations and team development.
Responsibilities:
- Provide medical and surgical care for companion animals
- Lead and support the veterinary team in delivering high-quality patient care
- Collaborate with staff to promote a positive and efficient work environment
- Develop treatment plans and educate clients on preventive and ongoing care
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with professional standards
- Support clinical quality, patient safety, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree required
- Active veterinary license or ability to obtain licensure
- Previous clinical leadership or management experience preferred
- Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
