Super 8 is committed to providing clean, comfortable accommodations and outstanding guest service. We are looking for a dependable, customer-focused Front Desk Clerk who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in helping guests have a great stay.
Responsibilities
- As a Front Desk Clerk, you will perform a variety of duties to ensure smooth hotel operations, including:
- Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude
- Check guests in and out efficiently
- Answer phones and make reservations
- Process payments and balance cash drawer
- Respond to guest questions, requests, and concerns
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments
- Maintain an organized and clean front desk area
- Prepare daily reports and complete shift paperwork
- Fold, wash, dry, and organize hotel linens and towels during slower periods
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks as needed
- Follow all hotel safety, security, and brand stan
Experience
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to multitask and remain organized
- Dependable with strong attendance and punctuality
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Previous hotel or customer service experience is preferred but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys helping people, stays calm under pressure, and understands that working in a hotel means pitching in where needed. While guest service is the primary responsibility, team members also assist with laundry and other operational tasks to help keep the hotel running efficiently.
Pay: $12.77 - $13.50 per hour
