Responsibilities
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients following established recipes and standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicing tools efficiently and safely.
- Assemble pizzas with precision, adhering to recipe specifications and portion control guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations by following food safety sanitizing procedures.
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality and consistency.
- Assist with menu planning by suggesting new pizza varieties or seasonal specials based on customer preferences.
- Support high-volume production during peak hours while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Previous food handling or food preparation experience, preferably in a restaurant or high-volume setting.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures.
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely.
- Experience with food industry standards such as grilling, braising, poaching, and meal preparation is a plus.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency across multiple orders.
- Culinary experience in fine dining or catering environments is advantageous.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
