Location: This is a remote role that requires applicants to live full-time in or near Denver or Boulder, Colorado. You will work in your home office approximately 70% of the time and spend about 30% of your time attending networking and recruitment events.

Duties & Expectations
- Focus on sitter recruitment, including sourcing, screening, and onboarding
- Develop recruitment strategies to reach a more diverse candidate pool
- Represent Babysitters of Boulder at community and industry events, such as private school events or realtors' meetings, to build referral relationships and visibility
- Track seasonal hiring trends and clients' staffing needs; utilize data to forecast and execute recruitment timelines
- Develop our sitter retention plan and track trends in attrition
- Write one staffing-related blog post per month for our website
- Review and approve the final draft of our monthly staff newsletter
- Oversee planning of 2-3 staff trainings per year, live sessions and/or relevant webinars
- Oversee planning and hosting of our annual holiday party and summer social, with assistance of Staff Engagement Coordinator
- Research background check pricing annually for price comparisons
- Proactively implement improvements to our CRM related to recruitment and retention
Over time, there will be an opportunity to mentor and supervise another administrative staff member, our Staff Engagement Coordinator.
Skills & Requirements
- 5 years in a leadership and decision-making role in recruiting, HR, or staffing agency management
- Demonstrated track record in managing and improving the recruitment process
- Strong writing and editing skills for blog, newsletter work and emails
- Strong professional phone and email skills for client-facing conversations
- Demonstrated experience in inclusive hiring practices and diverse candidate outreach
- Comfort representing the brand and building relationships at networking events
- Based in or near Denver or Boulder, CO, with ability to attend occasional in-person recruitment events
- Self-directed and comfortable owning a varied role including strategy and execution
Compensation
- Rate range of $28 to $30 per hour, with additional commission and bonus opportunities connected to retention and recruitment quality
- Enrollment in Colorado's family leave (FAMLI) and accrued paid leave (HFWA) programs
- Paid Time Off (PTO): 15 hours in first year; 30 hours in subsequent years
- Monthly $60 reimbursement for use of home office equipment (laptop, Wi-Fi, etc.)
Schedule
15 hours/week, generally:
- Tuesday, 8am-2pm
- Wednesday or Thursday, 11am-4pm
- Friday, 8am-12pm
This is the standard schedule, with flexibility needed. Candidates aren't always available for interview before 2pm, so some weeks may call for evening interviews between 5pm and 6:30pm. Recruitment events may occasionally fall outside these hours, including 7:00am starts.
Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
