Position: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)

Schedule: varies based on position/location, 8 hour shifts, usually includes rotating weekends
Pay: $18.50-25/hr based on initial licensure date
Responsibilities include:
- Assist in filling and processing prescriptions, creating labels and entering patient information.
- Assist with daily distribution of prescriptions, maintaining pharmacy records, and assisting pharmacists as needed.
- Assist patients with prescription needs and provide excellent customer service.
- Stock medications/supplies and monitor/ensure adequate inventory is maintained.
- Perform cashier functions and collect pharmacy copays.
Requirements:
- 1+ year experience as Pharmacy Technician (PRN Techs must have 2+ years experience)
- Pharmacy Technician License in Texas (no trainees)
- Pharmacy Technician Certification through PTCB or NHA
- Inpatient positions require IV Certification and experience with chemo/sterile compounding/IVs
Pay: $18.50 - $25.00 per hour
