Duties
- Provide exceptional patient personal care assistance, including assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Observe and monitor patient conditions closely, documenting vital signs and changes using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to ensure accurate medical records
- Assist with medication administration following prescribed protocols while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality
- Support patients with medical procedures like catheter care, wound dressing, and basic life support techniques including CPR and first aid when necessary
- Facilitate patient transfers using appropriate methods such as Hoyer lifts or transfer belts, ensuring safety and comfort during movement
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks like cleaning and laundry to promote a healthy living environment
- Communicate effectively with clients and their families to address needs, provide updates, and ensure a high standard of personalized care within home health regulations
Experience
- Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia care (including Alzheimer’s and memory care), or geriatrics is highly preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, medication management, vital signs monitoring, and end-of-life care practices
- Experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home healthcare agencies is advantageous
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for documentation and client communication is essential
- Proven ability to perform heavy lifting safely, operate patient transfer equipment such as Hoyer lifts, and manage physical demands of caregiving roles
- Strong understanding of home health care regulations, HIPAA compliance, and client confidentiality standards
- Excellent caregiving skills combined with compassionate communication to foster trust and comfort for clients in their homes

Pay: $20.00 per hour
