Overview
We are seeking an Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our tree crew. All applicants must have a valid driver license (CDL is a plus but not required) and be willing to travel for work. We cover Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri spending the majority of each year on the road for work. Lodging is provided as part of your job. Do not apply if the extent of your equipment knowledge is driving a forklift. We are looking for candidates that are capable of efficiently operating a skid steer and large excavator. Must be willing to work out side in all conditions and be capable of lifting at least 50lbs. Previous forestry equipment is experience is preferred but not required. This is a fast paced, rigorous, work environment all applicants need to be highly motivated and interested in being part of a team. We cover a lot of ground per day and it is our expectation that all crew come prepared to work.
Duties
- Operate a range of heavy equipment including excavators, skidsteers, forestry munchers, backhoes, & dump trucks.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
- Load, secure, haul and unload equipment as needed.
- Safely maneuver machinery around construction sites while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
- Follow all safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
- Conduct pre-operation checks and report any mechanical issues promptly for repairs.
Experience
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators (including Caterpillar models), skid steers, backhoes, dump trucks etc.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Experience working on commercial construction sites with familiarity in tree work a plus.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred for operating trucks such as dump trucks and hauling equipment (BUT not required)
- Prior experience in related industries is highly desirable.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
