We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant to work as part of our primary care team. Candidates interested in this position must have a background in administering medical exams, be proficient at technical skills, and enjoy assisting in clerical work. Primary duties include taking patient histories, conducting basic exams and responding to customer inquiries, so a passion for helping others is an essential requirement for this job. Responsibilities: * University Degree. * Treat patients with courtesy and respect. * Be familiar with medical terminology, as well as a basic understanding of anatomy and physiology. * Dispense medicines according to doctors' orders and explain their use to patients. * Record patient information in an accurate, timely manner. * Confirm appointments and greeting patients upon arrival. * Follow health and safety guidelines as well as OSHA regulations.
