Position: Low Voltage Technician - All Experience Levels

Install and terminate Cat5e/Cat6 and fiber optic cabling

Install CCTV cameras, access control systems, and intrusion/fire alarm devices

Pull, route, label, and organize cabling

Read and interpret blueprints, riser diagrams, and low-voltage system drawings (training available for entry-level candidates)

Test, label, and document cable installations

Troubleshoot low-voltage systems and assist with service work
-
Coordinate with field supervisors and project teams
-
Maintain compliance with safety standards and applicable codes
-
Complete installation documentation and as-built records
Entry Level (0–1 year experience):
-
Assist with Cat6 structured cabling pulls and terminations
-
Support conduit runs and cable management under supervision
-
Work alongside experienced technicians on CCTV and access control projects
-
Follow job site safety and client access protocols
Mid Level (2–3 years experience):
-
Independently install structured cabling, CCTV, access control, and low voltage systems
-
Terminate and test Cat6, fiber, and system devices
-
Read drawings, pull permits, and coordinate with project managers

Mentor entry-level technicians on site
Senior Level (4+ years experience):

Lead installation and commissioning of complex, multi-scope low voltage systems

Serve as primary field contact for project managers and clients on active sites

Troubleshoot advanced system issues and ensure quality control throughout

Oversee junior technicians and maintain job site standards
Requirements — All Levels

Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation

Ability to lift 50 lbs, work on ladders, and in tight spaces

Willing to submit to background check (required for school and government sites)
