Job Summary
Heller & Consultants Tax Grievance, one of Long Island's leading property tax grievance firms, is seeking a Real Estate Valuation Analyst to join our growing team.
This position is ideal for a real estate professional, assessor, mortgage professional, or CMA specialist with strong knowledge of Long Island residential real estate values.
Responsibilities
- Analyze residential property assessments
- Prepare and review Comparable Market Analyses (CMAs)
- Research MLS sales, market trends, and property characteristics
- Identify potential tax assessment discrepancies
- Assist in the preparation of tax grievance cases
- Maintain accurate valuation and case records
- Work closely with management to maximize client tax reductions
Qualifications
- Real estate, mortgage, assessor, or valuation experience preferred
- Strong understanding of Nassau and Suffolk County real estate markets
- Experience with MLS systems and comparable sales analysis
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and database software
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently
