GK Pastry is a family-owned bakery specializing in artisan baked goods, pastries, jar cakes, and sourdough breads made from the finest natural ingredients. We value friendly service, community interaction, and creating delightful experiences for every customer.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service.
- Guide customers through our menu, answer questions, and offer samples.
- Accurately process sales using POS system and handle cash/card transactions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming storefront.
- Restock shelves, displays, and bakery cases as needed.
- Package bread, pastries, and other items for customers with care.
- Assist with light cleaning duties (sweeping, wiping counters, etc.).
- Support the team during busy hours with flexibility and a positive attitude.
- (Future) Learn and support additional responsibilities as the role transitions to full-time.
Requirements:
- Previous customer service or retail experience preferred (not required).
- Friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic personality.
- Strong communication and people skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
- Willingness to occasionally assist with basic kitchen/packaging tasks.
- Flexibility for weekends (preferred).
- Must have valid work authorization in the U.S.

Pay: $22 per hour
Hours: 3 days a week (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) from 10 am - 6 pm
