Atlantic Dialysis Management Services is looking for an experienced Biomed Dialysis Technician to work at our Broadway Dialysis Center located in Elmhurst Hospital Center.
Job description
Reports to: Administrator
Requirements:
Must possess 1 - 3 years of experience in Biomed dialysis a must
CHT preferred or willingness to become certified.
- Must be articulate.
- Must possess record-keeping knowledge/experience.
Maintain environmental integrity and aesthetics - ensure all areas are safe and clean.
Clean and disinfect dialysis machine surface, chair, equipment, and surrounding area between treatments according to facility policy.
Conduct all tasks necessary for preparation for dialysis treatment and document where appropriate.
Perform all required pretreatment dialysis machine alarm testing including Pressure Holding (PHT).
Initiate Solution Delivery System (SDS) system.
Ensure that all blood spills are immediately cleaned with appropriate disinfectant according to facility policy.
Prepare, organize, and efficiently utilize supplies and equipment to prevent wastage.
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid drivers license and working vehicle
-at least one year previous exp as an Dialysis equipment Tech
- Exp and training on current dialysis machines
Certification of completed training
- ability to be on-call when needed
