JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Manager of Facilities provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for all facilities, maintenance, custodial services, safety, environmental compliance, and capital improvement activities. This position ensures all buildings, infrastructure, utilities, and production support systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably while supporting organizational goals.
JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and execute the organization's facilities and maintenance strategy.

Lead, mentor, train, and evaluate facilities, maintenance, custodial, and safety personnel.

Develop departmental goals, KPIs, budgets, and capital improvement plans.

Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.

Maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, fire protection, security, and building automation systems.

Partner with operations and manufacturing leadership to ensure equipment reliability, facility readiness, and uninterrupted production support.

Manage renovations, expansions, and capital projects.

Manage operating and capital budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Negotiate and oversee vendor and contractor relationships.

Collaborate with the Safety Coordinator to support OSHA, EPA, environmental, and other regulatory compliance initiatives, helping ensure adherence to applicable safety regulations and standards.

Lead emergency preparedness, business continuity, accident investigations, and corrective actions.

Oversee physical security systems and facility access.

Manage inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment.

Approve payroll, conduct performance reviews, and administer discipline as needed.

Perform other duties and strategic initiatives as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Industrial Technology, Business Administration, or related field required.

7–10 years of progressive facilities management experience in a manufacturing environment.

Minimum 5 years of leadership experience.

Experience managing capital projects, budgets, contractors, and regulatory compliance.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, OSHA, EPA, and building codes.

Budget, project, and vendor management experience.

Experience with Microsoft Office and CMMS software.

Ability to communicate effectively with individuals with disabilities.

Valid driver's license.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday as required.

Ability to climb ladders and work in varying environmental conditions as needed.

Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including exposure to noise, heat, and cold, as applicable.

Ability to wear and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing job duties.
