Prepare, process, approve, and protect all standard controlled documents for corporate use, regulatory review, and customer audits. Provide current approved documents for reference and training throughout the company. Retrieve information from archives as needed. Train others in Document Control procedures.
· Follow all company policies and procedures.
· Follow and ensure compliance to quality system and cGMP programs.
· Manage all controlled documents. Assign control numbers, create them as needed, verify that details are in regulatory and corporate compliance, and get applicable signatures. Maintain accurate and complete documents, including all revision approvals, in paper and electronic forms:
· Specifications
· Job Descriptions
· Standard Operation Procedures
· Standard Testing Methods
· Change Orders
· Corrective Action/Preventive Action reports
· Deviation Reports
· Logbooks
· Provide current approved versions of controlled documents for reference and training throughout the company.
· Retain controlled documents according to procedure and retrieve archived information as needed.
· Administer electronic Document Control systems, providing user access and handling technical questions.
· Train assistants and coworkers in document control processes as needed.
Qualifications:
· Supervisory role.
· Must have a college degree or equivalent experience.
· Four years of work experience, preferably in Document Control within a regulated industry.
· No certifications or licenses required.
· Must have basic math skills.
· Complex reading skills required.
· Complex computer skills needed.
· Must have moderate language skills.
· Must have moderate writing skills
· Must be willing to learn new tasks and procedures.
· Ability to efficiently and effectively perform all essential position duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation without posing a direct safety threat to self or others.
· Maintain a regular and dependable work attendance record with few instances of unplanned and/or unexpected absence.
