Duties:
-Act as lead of 1-2 temp forklift drivers; up to 4 sort operators
-Deal with inbound truck drivers and paperwork, submitting all paperwork to home office
- Operate a forklift to move, stack, and retrieve materials in the warehouse or distribution center.
- Safely load and unload materials from trucks or containers.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklift equipment.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
- High Volume, unloading and putting away 10-15 truckloads per day
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts
- Strong understanding of basic math skills for inventory management.
- Ability to perform minor equipment repairs and maintenance.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members.
