Position Summary
The Restaurant Expediter serves as the communication link between the kitchen and front-of-house staff, ensuring that food orders are prepared accurately, presented properly, and delivered promptly to members and guests. This role helps maintain high service standards and a positive dining experience in the country club environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the flow of food from the kitchen to the dining room.
- Review tickets to ensure orders are complete, accurate, and prepared according to member requests.
- Verify food quality, presentation, and portion consistency before service.
- Communicate effectively with chefs, cooks, servers, and managers regarding order status and special requests.
- Organize and prioritize orders during busy service periods.
- Ensure food is delivered promptly and at the correct temperature.
- Assist in resolving order discrepancies and service issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo line and service areas.
- Monitor timing between courses to ensure a smooth dining experience.
- Support kitchen and service staff as needed to meet club service standards.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, hospitality, or food service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality service.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special club events.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
