Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee daily kitchen operations. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high-quality standards are met consistently
- Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies, managing stock levels, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability
- Train and develop kitchen staff on food safety practices, proper food handling, and cooking techniques to maintain compliance with health regulations
- Monitor shift operations, ensuring efficient workflow, timely service, and adherence to safety protocols in a quick service or casual dining environment
- Conduct staff interviews, hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training to build a motivated and skilled team
- Analyze profit and loss reports to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies for increased efficiency and revenue growth
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and sanitation procedures at all times
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service and fostering a positive team culture
Experience
- Proven management experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment with a focus on kitchen operations
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary management across various cuisines
- Demonstrated success supervising teams in quick service, casual dining, or fine dining settings with strong leadership skills
- Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling expertise required
- Knowledge of inventory control methods, food safety regulations (including HACCP), and sanitation standards
- Experience managing budgets, analyzing profit & loss statements, and implementing cost-control measures
- Prior involvement in staff training & development programs within the food industry is highly desirable
- Familiarity with catering or banquet operations is a plus; hotel or hospitality management background preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining high standards of quality

Pay: $56,992.86 - $75,000.00 per year
