The company specializes in the design, manufacturing, and service of plates and gaskets for all makes and models of plate heat exchangers (PHE). These PHEs offer our clients high reliability of heat transfer, low capital investment and installation costs, reducing maintenance, operating costs, wear, and corrosion.
Job Summary:
The Frame Assembler l will be responsible for assembly, closing and testing of new units. This role includes duties such as identifying parts, assembly of units using power tools, forklifts and cranes. Certain operations will include the
operation of saw and swedging equipment. This is higher level skilled position compared to Frame Assembler I and
requires the ability to work independently and proficiently with minimal to no supervision.
Key Responsibilities: Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Able to read provided job documentation including assembly drawings.
- Identify and pull parts for jobs. Accurately identify frame components.
- Accurately cut threaded rod to length per job documentation. Proficient in using saw equipment.
- Accurately cut and fold shrouds using power tools and other equipment.
- Operate press to lock the nut on the threaded rod to manufacture tie rods.
- Operate hydraulic press to press in liners.
- Independently be able to stand up and assemble frames.
- Correctly stuff plates and close the unit to A-dim per provided job documentation.
- Independently close the unit using power tools or hydraulic closing unit.
- Independently perform hydro test and attach name plates on units.
- Keep accurate documentation of product and movement.
- Participate in all equipment PM's, repairs, tasks and tests.
- Diagnose equipment/product issues and determine proper solutions.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace and shop.
- Final Frame Inspection/ QC.
- Packaging/ Lay Down of units as required.
- Adhere to and participate in any directed work outside of normal workspace.
- Cooperate with the workshop to share information across the Team by building positive relationships.
- Promptly communicate any inventory-related issues to the relevant parties.
- Proficiently operate forklifts, stand up forklifts, and cranes in compliance with safety standards.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; knowledge of inventory management systems is preferred.
· Proficiency in operating forklifts, standup forklifts, and cranes.
· Strong organizational and communication skills.
· Ability to use handheld devices and computer systems for inventory tasks.
· Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records.
· Experience with shipping and receiving processes is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) regularly.
· Manual dexterity and ability to handle tools and machinery controls.
· Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and stooping may be required.
· Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions typical of a manufacturing environment.
Work Environment:
· Manufacturing/production floor environment with exposure to noise, dust, and machining fluids.
· Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.

Compensation: We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors to determine your total compensation package. We rely on market indicators to determine compensation and consider your specific job, background, skills, and experience to get it right. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary and will also be dependent on your location.
Work Status: Full Time – Work hours are Monday through Friday with flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays.
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
