Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic IT Project Manager to lead and oversee complex technology initiatives within our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects related to enterprise software, IT infrastructure, and cloud computing solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership capabilities, adept at managing cross-functional teams and stakeholder expectations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and SAFe frameworks, ensuring the successful delivery of projects aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans utilizing tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, and Jira to ensure clear scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Lead cross-functional teams through all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to deployment and user acceptance testing.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and risks proactively to ensure timely delivery within scope.
- Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders, including technical teams, business units, and executive leadership.
- Oversee enterprise software implementation projects, ensuring adherence to IT governance standards and best practices.
- Coordinate with vendors and external partners on cloud computing solutions such as AWS to optimize infrastructure performance.
- Monitor project progress using tools like VersionOne and Microsoft Excel; prepare status reports for executive review.
- Conduct thorough analysis of project requirements and develop detailed test cases to validate deliverables.
- Lead project team members in adopting Agile planning techniques such as Kanban and Scrum for iterative development cycles.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards including PMBOK guidelines and disaster recovery protocols.
Experience:
- Proven track record of at least 7 years in IT project management within a technology-driven environment.
- Extensive experience managing enterprise software projects involving databases such as SQL and Oracle.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience overseeing technical project teams across multiple projects or programs.
- Strong familiarity with project management tools including Jira, TFS (Team Foundation Server), SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies like Waterfall, Agile, SAFe, and PMBOK standards.
- Hands-on experience with software development processes such as test-driven development (TDD) and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Expertise in managing IT infrastructure projects encompassing disaster recovery planning and IT governance frameworks.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills capable of negotiating requirements with stakeholders at all levels.
- Technical proficiency in cloud computing platforms (AWS), databases (SQL/Oracle), and enterprise solutions implementation.
