JOB SUMMARY
Lean On Me Caregiving is seeking compassionate and dependable In-Home Caregivers serving New Castle County, DE. We are currently looking for caregivers interested in building consistent hours and making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors within their community. Schedules and hours vary based on client needs, availability, and schedule requirements.
Our clients are located throughout New Castle County, including Wilmington, Newark, Bear, Middletown, Townsend, New Castle, and surrounding areas.
Hiring immediately — applications reviewed daily.
No certification is required. We are a non-medical caregiving agency, and we welcome individuals with a caring heart, strong work ethic, and passion for helping others.
Please note that working every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and every other holiday is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
-Assist clients with mobility and transfers to ensure safety.
-Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements.
-Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
-Engage clients in social activities and companionship to promote mental well-being.
-Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the healthcare team.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
-Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude
-Valid driver's license
-Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
-Ability to travel to client homes throughout New Castle County
-Ability to work independently while following care plans and instructions
-Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
-Must be able to pass background checks and drug screening as required by Delaware state regulations
-Must be available to work every other weekend and holiday

PAY: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour
EXPECTED HOURS:
-Full-time: 30 - 40 hours per week
-Part-time opportunities may also be available
