In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and maintaining linens and towels that meet our quality standards. Responsibilities
- Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and guest clothing with precision and care
- Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure proper handling
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly sanitizing machines and workspaces
- Monitor inventory levels of linens and supplies, notifying management when restocking is necessary
- Follow safety procedures and proper handling techniques for chemicals used in cleaning processes
- Assist with other cleaning duties around the hotel to support overall cleanliness standards when required
Qualifications
- Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail to ensure linens are spotless and well-maintained
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks
- Familiarity with hotel operations or hospitality experience is a plus
