About the Opportunity
A growing, industry-leading manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Master Planner to join its operations team. This position plays a critical role in developing and maintaining production schedules that support customer demand while optimizing inventory, capacity, and manufacturing efficiency.

Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and adjust the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to meet customer demand and production goals.
- Analyze demand forecasts, inventory levels, and manufacturing capacity to build effective production plans.
- Partner with production, purchasing, materials, and supply chain teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Monitor production schedules and identify potential bottlenecks or capacity constraints.
- Utilize MRP/ERP systems to manage production planning and inventory activities.
- Support inventory optimization while maintaining customer service expectations.
- Assist with capacity planning to balance labor, equipment, and production requirements.
- Analyze production metrics and recommend process improvements.
- Maintain accurate planning records and system data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in production planning, master scheduling, supply chain, and/or materials management.
- Experience creating and maintaining Master Production Schedules (MPS).
- Experience working in a high-volume, lean manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems.
- Understanding of demand forecasting, inventory management, and capacity planning.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple departments.
