Our client is looking for a Document Control Coordinator to join their team supporting their Engineering team with document revision. This is 100% onsite in Chelmsford, MA. This role supports an organization that prides itself on quality and accuracy in documentation processes, ensuring all documents are properly prepared, maintained, and distributed. In this position, you will be responsible for creating process summaries, verifying revisions, and implementing changes to manufacturing documents to keep all information up-to-date and compliant. You’ll be a key part of a team dedicated to maintaining the integrity of company documents while working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
In this role, you will be creating visual aids, importing design data files, and verifying revisions against customer requests. You’ll also handle updating existing documents, assessing the impact of changes, and ensuring everything aligns with organizational standards. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will be crucial to success.
Additionally, you will:
- Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) / Engineering Change Requests (ECRs): route for review/approval, track status, enforce effective dates, and ensure downstream updates are completed.
- Own revision control for technical data: drawings, specs, work instructions, travelers/routers, process sheets—ensure correct revision is released to manufacturing and suppliers.
- Maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs): create/update BOM structures, validate part/assembly relationships, and ensure BOMs match released drawings/specs.
- Part number / assembly number administration: create and maintain part numbers, descriptions, attributes, and document associations in the system of record.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM - Friday's off. 100% onsite
Required Skills, Education and Experience:
- 2+ years of experience managing documents for electonronics manufacturing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Experience working with software to create visual aids
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work well under pressure in a high-paced environment
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods and lift up to 15 pounds
