**Job Description:**
The Hospital Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the healthcare facility. This position requires a candidate with at least 2 years of experience in healthcare facility management, strong maintenance skills, and a dedication to servant leadership. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in legal and regulatory compliance, organization, financial stewardship, and human resources management.
**Essential Skills and Experience:**

Perform routine maintenance tasks and repairs to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and systems
- Adhere to legal and regulatory requirements for healthcare facilities, including safety standards and environmental regulations
- Assist with budget management and resource allocation to support efficient maintenance operations
- Support human resources management efforts, including hiring, training, and staff development initiatives
- Utilize technical skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and equipment maintenance to address facility needs
- Communicate effectively with staff and patients, providing exceptional customer service and satisfaction
- Maintain knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance requirements for healthcare facilities and ensure adherence to guidelines
**Preferred Experience/Skills:**
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare facility
- Proficiency in diagnostics and troubleshooting equipment and monitoring systems
- Additional technical skills such as construction sequencing, Building Information Modeling (BIM), and Information Systems/Technology (IS/T)
