Indoor Air Quality Specialist / Duct Cleaning Lead
Healthy Homes LLC is hiring an Indoor Air Quality Specialist / Duct Cleaning Lead to join our team. This is not just a basic duct cleaning position. We are looking for someone who is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, personable, and capable of growing into a well-rounded indoor air quality, building science, and restoration professional.
This role includes air duct cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, bathroom exhaust vent rerouting, light duct repairs, odor control, mold remediation, sanitation work, inspections, testing, and customer communication. The right person must be a problem solver who can think on their feet, communicate clearly with customers and the office, stay organized, and take pride in doing clean, professional work.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional air duct cleaning and dryer vent cleaning
- Operate duct cleaning equipment, vacuums, compressors, air tools, and related equipment
- Drive company trucks and safely haul trailers when needed
- Complete bathroom exhaust vent reroutes and minor duct repairs
- Assist with light HVAC-related work and basic mechanical troubleshooting
- Perform odor control, sanitation, full-home cleaning, and indoor air quality services
- Assist with mold remediation, containment, cleaning, and restoration-related work
- Perform inspections, testing, photo documentation, and job notes
- Communicate professionally with customers before, during, and after jobs
- Keep trucks, equipment, tools, and job sites clean and organized
- Identify problems on job sites and help find practical solutions
- Follow company procedures, safety standards, and quality expectations
- Help educate customers on indoor air quality, moisture, ventilation, and building science concerns
- Participate in sales opportunities with commission potential

Experience Preferred
Experience in any of the following is helpful but not required for the right person:
- Air duct cleaning
- Dryer vent cleaning
- HVAC
- Restoration or mold remediation
- Construction or mechanical trades
- Cleaning, sanitation, or indoor air quality work
- Customer service or sales
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting pay: $25 per hour
- Full-time position: 40 hours per week

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
