American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of experience and active CA licensure for a travel contract in a mammography department.

Mammography department within an acute care health system
-
Performs routine and specialized breast imaging procedures
-
5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday with weekend rotation required
-
Weekday shift starts vary between 6:30 AM and 10:30 AM; weekend shift starts between 7:00 AM and 7:30 AM

Minimum of 2 years of mammography experience required

Current BLS certification (AHA)

CA CRT required
-
CA license required if applicable

2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration

Performs routine and specialized breast procedures to produce quality diagnostic images for physicians and other healthcare providers
-
Works independently using sound clinical judgment to execute safe, precise procedures and deliver accurate results in a timely manner

Responsible for patient assessment, monitoring, and communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members

May orient other staff to the department as needed

Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate

Former employees must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler

Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved
