Located in Port Jefferson, the St. Charles Campus of Good Samaritan University Hospital combines advanced clinical expertise with a longstanding commitment to compassionate care. St. Charles Campus’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a state-of-the-art multidisciplinary ICU and Stroke Unit. The unit is a general ICU that includes critically ill cardiac, respiratory, septic, neurological, surgical, neurosurgical, orthopedic, and gynecology patients.
Job Details:
Our ICU RNs:

Assess, monitor, administer medication, document progress, and manage overall care for highly acute and critical patients, including critical patients coming post-surgery.

Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, registered nurses (RN), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support and education.
Qualifications:

Passion for Critical Care Nursing
- 1+ Years Critical Care RN experience required

Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required or currently enrolled in a BSN program

Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration

Certification: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiac Life support (ACLS) are required
Posted Salary Range: USD $63.56 - USD $63.56 /Hr. :
