Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of employees to maximize sales and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Oversee daily store operations including inventory management, merchandising, and cash handling.
- Conduct employee orientation, training & development, and performance evaluations to ensure staff are equipped with the necessary skills.
- Manage scheduling and shift management to optimize store coverage and efficiency.
- Implement effective recruiting strategies to attract top talent for various positions within the store.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and bookkeeping practices to ensure financial integrity.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
- Foster strong customer relationships through excellent communication skills and effective problem-solving techniques.
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail management or as an assistant manager with supervisory experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and employees.
- Proficiency in inventory control, merchandising, scheduling, and sales management.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail for administrative tasks such as payroll and bookkeeping.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is essential.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and develop team members.
