Love cooking?! Plank Coffee Production Kitchen in Cloverdale is looking for a full-time food prep employee to join our team! The commercial kitchen supplies food and beverages for our two cafe locations, and for our wholesale customers.
Shift Hours are 5am-1:30pm SATURDAY through WEDNESDAY. Have your afternoons/evenings off! Experience in food service IS required. Candidate should have a minimum of one year experience in restaurant, commercial kitchen or other food service establishments, and should have an understanding of food safety and food preparation procedures. Culinary students can apply. Pay is based on experience level.
Job responsibilities include:
-Assisting team with daily food preparation required for cafes. This includes prepping fruit and vegetables, preparing egg dishes, making batters, preparing hot food items, fresh juices, etc.
-Receiving duties: checking in, dating, rotating and properly storing inventory
-Conducting inventories and placing orders with suppliers
-The job does involve occasional lifting - the candidate should be comfortable and capable of lifting 50 pound items
