Duties
- Operate heavy crushing equipment safely and efficiently, including crushers, and screening machinery to produce specified aggregate sizes.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on crushing machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.
- Assist with the setup, calibration, and adjustment of equipment based on project specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to load raw materials into crushers using forklifts or other heavy equipment.
- Support fabrication and welding tasks related to equipment repairs or modifications when necessary.
- Maintain detailed logs of machine operation, maintenance activities, and production output for reporting purposes.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to ensure a secure work environment.
Skills
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as crushers, forklifts, and other construction machinery.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs or adjustments.
- Familiarity with fabrication techniques, welding, machining, and concrete forming processes is highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of manufacturing or construction environments, including warehouse experience related to material handling.
- Ability to read technical manuals and interpret operational instructions accurately.
- Skilled in concrete finishing, mixing concrete with mixers, and supporting concrete-related tasks when needed.
