Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our facility, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in housekeeping, custodial tasks, and floor care, particularly within the hotel or hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and laundry facilities to uphold high cleanliness standards.
- Manage laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained properly.
- Conduct floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established procedures for handling hazardous materials and cleaning chemicals safely.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices is an advantage but not required.
- A commitment to providing exceptional service in the hospitality industry.
- Spanish speaking is preferred, but not required
