Job Summary

Duties
- Safely cargo van or personal vehicles to deliver medical supplies across designated routes, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards
- Load and unload medical equipment and supplies using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary
- Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries, including signing delivery receipts and updating mobile devices with delivery status
- Follow established route schedules to maximize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report any maintenance issues promptly, and maintain a clean and safe vehicle environment
- Assist with warehouse operations by moving stock, organizing inventory, and preparing shipments for dispatch
- Practice safe lifting techniques during manual handling tasks involving heavy or bulky items
Experience
- Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred
- Experience in delivery driving or courier roles demonstrating reliability and punctuality
- Knowledge of manual transmission driving is advantageous; valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting, moving supplies, and manual handling safely
- Familiarity with material handling equipment operation like pallet jacks is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
