Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team, responsible for delivering high-quality painting services across various projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial painting, with a strong understanding of color theory and construction practices. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to excellence, and the ability to work effectively in diverse environments.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and airless paint sprayers.
- Conduct painting estimating to provide accurate project assessments.
- Execute plastering, caulking, and trim carpentry tasks as part of the finishing process.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various painting tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the project duration.
Experience
- Proven experience in residential and commercial painting is essential.
- Familiarity with construction site experience including basic math skills for estimating materials.
- Knowledge of color theory and its application in various settings.
