Job description
Doc Bresler's Cavity Busters is seeking a Part time Dental Assistant to join our Doylestown office location. Schedule would be Tuesday - Thursday, Full time available if willing to travel to other locations.
Dental Assistant responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Greet parents and review treatment plan for visit.
- Responsible to walk patients back to treatment areas and verify demographics.
- Review and record dental health histories of patient in digital chart.
- Take digital x-rays and panoramic images.
- Set up instrument trays and prepare patient for treatment.
- Set up dental chair with all necessary dental materials for doctor, Hygienist, and EFDA.
- Enter treatment information and procedures into patient’s electronic chart.
- Chairside assist doctors and EFDAs by preparing materials and handling suctioning.
- Make preliminary impressions for our lab.
- Clean room and disinfect dental chairs after patient use.
- Sterilize dental instruments and disinfect equipment.
- Review visit with parent after treatment, provide postoperative instructions, and lead parent to the front desk for follow up appointments.
- Unboxing materials and verifying orders.
Requirements
- Dental Assistants must be X-ray certified
- Ability to multi task and work in a team environment
Requested, but not required:
Bilingual a plus (Spanish, Russian, Chinese).
Experience with Dentrix Enterprise dental software and dental terminology.
License/Certification:
- Radiation Health & Safety Certification (Required)
