Grill cook, breakfast and lunch only. Monday-Friday 6-2:30. No nights, weekends or holidays. The wage for this position is $18.50. Corporate style cafe in Schenectady, New York.
Responsibilities:
- Short order grill cooking for customers.
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure food is prepared and ready for production in a timely manner.
- Monitor food stock levels.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.
Qualifications:
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced cafeteria.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology. Food handler's card preferred.
- Experience at universities, armed services, banquet or other high-volume operations is helpful.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Should be able to work independently as well as with a team.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
