We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Flat Bed Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and customer service skills, with the ability to operate flat bed tow truck. This role requires a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Operate tow trucks safely and efficiently to transport vehicles to repair facilities.
- Perform basic automotive repairs and diagnostics as needed during towing operations.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle issues and the towing process.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on tow trucks to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Drive vehicles with both automatic and manual transmissions, demonstrating proficiency in handling diverse automotive systems.
- Respond promptly to towing requests, ensuring timely arrival at the scene of incidents.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on duty.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive repair or as a mechanic is preferred.
- Familiarity with operating tow trucks.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic automotive diagnostics.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor when interacting with clients.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Must be able to pass any required background checks or screenings related to driving history and safety compliance.
