General Definition of Work:
Performs semiskilled work preparing and serving meals, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of assigned personnel.
Essential Functions:
- Prepares, cooks, assembles, and serves meals and snacks according to U.S.D.A. standards.
- Cleans kitchen and storeroom, always maintains a sanitary working environment.
- Inspects, receives, and stores inventory. Ensures rotation of stock and completion of paperwork.
- Maintains production records, milk records, and other paperwork.
- Trains new staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma or GED with coursework in home economics, food preparation, or similar subjects
