The Upper Court is a growing wellness, fitness, and community-focused destination in Plainfield, NJ. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Yoga Instructor to join our team on either a full-time or part-time basis.
We're looking for someone who can create an exceptional experience for students, inspire a healthy lifestyle, and contribute to the growth of our wellness community.
Responsibilities
- Lead group yoga classes for various skill levels
- Provide safe and effective instruction while maintaining proper alignment and technique
- Create a welcoming, positive, and inclusive environment
- Adapt classes to accommodate different fitness levels and abilities
- Build strong relationships with members and clients
- Support client retention and community engagement
- Assist with special wellness events, workshops, and programs
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of yoga teaching experience
- Yoga certification from a recognized program required
- Strong knowledge of yoga principles, anatomy, and safe teaching practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
- Ability to teach a variety of class formats and experience levels
- Existing client following preferred
