Objective:
We are looking to add self-starter, enthusiastic team members to the EMG family!
Our Project Coordinators are direct support to the Project Managers (PMs) in overseeing the glazing of commercial construction projects. In coordination with the PMs, this position must plan, develop, and coordinate all office-related glazing tasks during the lifecycle of the project. This includes interpreting plans/blueprints, ordering materials, attending regular meetings, visiting jobsites, and maintaining meticulous communication with several parties.
Training will be provided – applying to interview for a Project Manager position after thorough knowledge and experience may be available.
Responsibilities:
· Aid in processing and tracking multiple ongoing glazing projects, all of which have budgets, schedules, and specific requirements
· Maintain continuous communication with General Contractors, Glaziers/field staff, and suppliers to form rapport and maintain an efficient flow to completion
· Coordinate with the appropriate parties to organize the resources that will be needed at each job such as labor, equipment, materials, etc.
· Review, interpret, and endorse detailed shop drawings from our in-house CAD Drafting team
· Assist in preparing project status reports for monthly meetings, forecasting costs/budget, status of the project, and expected schedules
· Complete administrative duties such as scheduling, generating RFI’s, responding to change orders, and filing both paper and electronic documentation
· Employ excellent problem-solving skills, using professionalism and effective communication, for any challenge or unexpected change that might arise
· Other duties as assigned
Skills/Requirements:

Education:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Experience in construction/manufacturing is a plus
· Current credentials or certification preferred

Working Conditions:
· Both office and outdoors; possible exposure to loud noises, all weather conditions, and construction zones
· May be required to lift (up to 50 pounds) and climb ladders (with provided proper safety gear)
· Requires sedentary work, sitting, and typing (up to 8 hours per working day)
· Daytime travel may be required
