Responsible for direct oversight of 5 homes. This includes working directly in each home at least once per week to build and maintain strong relationships with members, staff, and house managers. The Program Manager is expected to be primarily in the field and maintain continuous communication with all assigned house managers. They work closely with each manager to provide leadership and guidance regarding member care, oversee and submit all incident reports and fact finds, and support overall compliance efforts. The Program Manager also conducts weekly audits to ensure quality assurance and supports house managers in resolving any issues found. They are responsible for investing in the growth and well-being of their house managers by providing regular 1:1 supervision.
Oversee 5 house managers and house operations for 5 Special Needs (DDD) group homes
Provide consistent support and investment in house managers’ leadership, professional development, and personal growth
Conduct weekly quality assurance monitoring of all homes to ensure DDD compliance
Perform regular audits of member files and overall house compliance documentation
Assist house managers in gathering BTP (Behavior Treatment Plan) documentation for submission to PRC
Conduct quality reviews of medication audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
Review and oversee all incident reports for assigned group homes
Review and approve all fact-finding requests
Create and submit master Focus schedules for assigned homes
Provide monthly progress assessments and skill-building for each house manager
Serve as on-call supervisor as an on needed basis
Lead team meetings and retrainings with staff as needed (e.g., per DDD requests, medication administration, BTP tracking, and required documentation)
Act as liaison between employees and supervisors, and with families, DTA providers, medical professionals, and government agencies
Safely and appropriately implement Prevention and Support behavioral intervention techniques when necessary
Exert physical effort including lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying objects; use core muscle groups continuously as required
Preferred bachelor’s degree; minimum 3 years of experience in social services
Prior supervisory experience, preferably in group home or program management (minimum 3 years)
Experience working with the Division of Developmental Disabilities
Strong professional boundaries and genuine care for children and adults with developmental disabilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Valid Arizona driver’s license
Current certifications in First Aid, CPR, Article 9, and Prevention and Support
Valid Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card and physical exam clearance prior to employment
Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
