Position Summary
The Staffing Payroll Coordinator plays a vital role within our payroll team, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of weekly and bi-weekly payroll cycles. Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager, this position is responsible for coordinating timekeeping activities, maintaining employee payroll records, and supporting compliance with payroll policies and regulations. Utilizing the TempWorks payroll system, the Payroll Coordinator helps ensure efficient payroll operations while maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail.
This position is based at our Corporate Office in Corona, California, and does not require travel.
Responsibilities
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll accurately and on schedule.
- Coordinate and review timekeeping records to validate hours worked.
- Maintain, update, and audit employee payroll data and records.
- Monitor compliance with company payroll policies and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain organized payroll documentation and records for reporting and audit purposes.
- Assist with payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate employee and payroll information.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of payroll processing experience.
- Strong understanding of payroll procedures and best practices.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with payroll systems such as TempWorks, ADP, Paychex, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
