We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Operations Manager to join our Operations team. This person will play a crucial role in the overall success of our operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and optimal performance across all aspects of our engineering department. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Lean Manufacturing, Change Management, Capacity Planning, Resource Planning, and more.
Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive operational strategies that align with the company's overall vision and objectives.

Lead and manage the operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Ensure adherence to Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to drive efficiency and productivity.

Oversee Change Management processes, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to operations.

Manage Capacity and Resource Planning, ensuring optimal allocation and utilization of resources.
-
Apply knowledge of Industrial Engineering principles to improve processes and systems.
-
Ensure compliance with AS9100 and ISO Standards.

Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify and manage interdependencies.

Drive the development and achievement of key performance indicators and operational targets.

Identify and mitigate operational risks, and manage issue resolution.
-
Foster a culture of safety, quality, and customer focus.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.

Minimum of 8 years of experience in an operations leadership role within the manufacturing industry.

Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Change Management, Capacity Planning, Resource Planning and People Management.

Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage and motivate teams. Specifically, Management of other Leaders in an organization.

Excellent strategic planning and project management skills.

Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO standards will be a plus, along with knowledge of ITAR compliance.

Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on innovative and creative solutions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.

High level of integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Willingness to keep up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the engineering industry.
