Position Summary
Product Development Engineer / Mechanical Engineer with hands-on experience, capable of conducting analytical studies on engineering proposals in order to design, develop and test products for the Automotive and Aerospace industry.
Requirements/Experience/Skills:
- Bachelors in Engineering preferred
- Mechanical engineering: 3 years (Preferred)
- Product development: 3 years (Preferred)
- Manufacturing: 2 years (Preferred)
- Automotive engineering: 2 years (Preferred)
- Experience working with a team to design to conceptualize, design, and test a product.
- Experience with Document design output including detailed drawings, material specifications and tooling requirements.
- Experience Developing products that meet specifications including prototype fabrication and testing.
- Experience Analyzing research data and proposed product specifications to determine feasibility of product proposal.
- Engineering degree Required, or 5+ years relevant experience
- 1-3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing
- 1-3 years experience in the automotive industry
- 1-3 years working in product development
- Experience with FMEA, Control plans, SCCAF, or capacity planning a plus.
- Experience with Automotive or Aerospace standards and requirements a plus.
- Hands on Automotive experience a plus
- Experience with NetSuite a Big Plus
- 3D printer experience and laser engraving a plus
- Communication in Spanish a plus
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident status Required (US Export Control Requirement)
- Able to communicate both verbally and in written form in English Required
Position is On-Site (Not Remote)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
