Shift Manager (Closing Shifts Required)

As a Shift Manager, you will play a key role in supporting team members, maintaining operational excellence, ensuring safety standards are met, and delivering outstanding customer service. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example, solving problems, and helping a team succeed.
Position Details
- Part-Time Position (25–40 hours per week)
- Starting Pay: $21.00 per hour
- 4 Positions Available
- Location: Queens, NY
- In-Person Position
- Closing shifts required
- Availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays required
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to reliably commute to Queens, NY
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
- Minimum 1 year of management, supervisory, or retail leadership experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Mandarin-speaking candidates are a plus
- First Aid Certification is a plus
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Comfortable speaking to groups and communicating clearly in a high-energy environment
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, organized, and guest-focused facility
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support team members throughout each shift
- Open and/or close the facility while ensuring all operational procedures are followed
- Enforce facility safety standards, policies, and health regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve guest concerns professionally
- Monitor facility activities and ensure all guests follow safety guidelines
- Respond appropriately and effectively during emergencies or unexpected situations
- Train, coach, and assist in the development of new team members
- Conduct routine facility inspections and identify safety or maintenance concerns
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
- Perform inventory counts and assist with stock replenishment
- Process point-of-sale transactions accurately
- Help coordinate and host birthday parties, events, and group bookings
- Assign team members to operational areas and manage guest flow during busy periods
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and company events as required
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times
- Complete additional duties and projects as assigned

Physical Requirements
This position requires frequent movement throughout the facility and the ability to:
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Use hands to handle equipment, merchandise, and operational materials
- Reach, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and balance when necessary
- Communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Work comfortably in an active, high-energy environment

- Reliable transportation to Queens, NY is required
- Candidates must be able to work on-site
- Relocation prior to employment is required if currently residing outside the area
