We are currently seeking a Job Site Security Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for protecting personnel, equipment, materials, and project assets while maintaining a safe and secure construction environment. Duties include monitoring site access points, enforcing security procedures, conducting routine inspections, and helping prevent theft, vandalism, trespassing, and unauthorized activity.

Job Responsibilities
- Control and monitor all site access points
- Verify the identity and authorization of all personnel, visitors, vendors, and delivery drivers entering the site
- Conduct hourly security patrols of the project site, including laydown yards, parking areas, offices, fuel stations, and material storage areas
- Monitor CCTV systems, alarm systems, and access control systems to ensure proper operation and security coverage
- Ensure all gates, fences, storage containers, and restricted areas remain secured and properly locked at all times
- Promptly report any security incidents, safety concerns, suspicious activity, or property damage to site management
- Conduct hourly inspections of the fuel station to ensure safe operation and identify any issues
- Ensure the tooling trailer is always locked and secured
- Verify all Conex containers are properly closed and locked
- Provide a detailed end-of-shift turnover report covering security observations, deliveries, incidents, and outstanding concerns Maintain accurate visitor logs, vehicle logs, and daily security reports
- Coordinate with project management, law enforcement, and emergency responders as needed
- Assist with emergency procedures, evacuations, and incident investigations
- Immediately report all safety, environmental, or security concerns to site management
Job Requirements
- Resume ready to submit to recruiter
- Construction or solar experience a plus, not a must
- Previous security experience needed
- Confident in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
- Able to work in all kinds of weather, steel or composite toed boots and cold/hot weather gear are your requirement
- Willing to work long days with potential weekend work
- Attention to performance details

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated to range between $25.00- $30.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including but not limited to experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate's skills and experience, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive skills and experience. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor were prohibited by local law.
