Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM; weekends as needed.
Pay: $19.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience.
The SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning) Assistant supports daily production planning, inventory management, and reporting activities to help ensure efficient manufacturing operations. This position works closely with Production, Customer Service, and other departments to maintain accurate schedules, inventory records, and production documentation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assist in maintaining daily and weekly production schedules.

Update production priorities based on customer demand and inventory requirements.

Prepare, reconcile, and distribute production paperwork.

Verify inventory availability before production runs.

Track production progress and communicate schedule updates as needed.

Update planning spreadsheets and scheduling documents.

Attend daily production meetings and provide planning support.

Coordinate with Customer Service regarding production schedules and order status.

Monitor finished goods inventory levels and identify replenishment needs.

Assist with inventory control and periodic cycle counts.

Enter batch and production information into the ERP system accurately and in a timely manner.

Verify that the correct lot numbers are consumed during production.

Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and investigating discrepancies.

Maintain accurate production and inventory records.

Ensure data integrity within planning spreadsheets and the ERP system.

Communicate effectively with Production, Warehouse, Customer Service, and other departments.

Assist with special projects and continuous improvement initiatives as assigned.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Wear all required personal protective equipment while in designated production areas, including safety glasses, hearing protection, steeltoe footwear, and any other PPE required for the work area.

Wear and properly use a respirator when entering designated production areas

Must be cleanshaven to ensure a proper respirator fit.
