SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Verifies incoming product from Production, processes appropriate product tag and loads product onto trucks. Provides the Production Department with raw and packaging material per requisition.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Perform visual inspection of product received from production ensuring quality is acceptable.
Utilize SAP system to create process orders, product tags, stock transfers, receive PO(s) and other appropriate receiving functions per work instructions.
Using a forklift, provide raw and packaging material to production per the requisition and record transfer in the SAP system.
Using a forklift, load finished product to trucks, using proper handling procedures and record the transfer on the manual loading diagram.
At the end of the shift, reconcile signed production report against issued tags. Report to supervisor any discrepancies found and final solution when applicable.
Keep work area clean. Perform cleaning of area assigned.
Follow GMP and Safety policies to ensure compliance with the HACCP program and AIB gold standard.
Maintain familiarity with all finished products, raw and packaging materials.
Maintains a positive and constructive work environment within the department as well as with other departments and promotes teamwork.
Must work various shifts and hours including holidays and weekends.
Works in a safe manner, observing all safety requirements.
EDUCATION/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
High School Diploma or GED
At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing or food distribution
Ability to lift at least 50 lb
Ability to read and write in English or Spanish
Ability to follow safety rules and procedures
Forklift and pallet jack Experience
